The area is much quieter and if using public transport it's very cheap to get around, however busses aren't very reliable and may not stop if too full. The unico app was useful to ensure we always had tickets. The area is much quieter than other areas along the coast but if you would prefer a bit more bustle, amalfi has much more to do.

Conca dei Marini is a quiet Amalfi coast town without the hustle and bustle of more famous towns but it also doesn’t have that much to see. You would probably want a car to visit the famous Amalfi sites if you stayed in this town. If you want to walk the Amalfi coast via small towns, you can probably do that here.

As in general Amalfi coast imo is overrated.
As in general Amalfi coast imo is overrated. Yes, it is unique, yes, it is beautiful, but... It is way too crowded in high season and as there are many tourist all things (including food etc) has very high price but average quality. To get around you need to sit in big traffic jams and there are literally no place to park car, if you are not willing to pay 10 EUR/h for parking - and even then there are places where you just cant park your car. It is worth to visit once in a life, but that's it.

Beautiful Views of the Ocean!
Beautiful Views of the Ocean! But it is very high up so there are not a lot of places to eat around Conca. We eat at a wonderful local restaurant called Le Bontà del Capo. They have a car that can pick you up and take you directly to their restaurant. Great service and fantastic food!

Nice quiet village in the middle of the Amalfi coast located inbetween Positano and Amalfi town away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi town, but not far away if you prefer a busy place to be. Great restaurants 10 minutes from our holiday home La Bonta del Capo and La Piazza da Nino both serving the most amazing fresh fish and pizza's perfectly cooked with efficient and friendly service and great local wines. Conca dei Marini is located on a cliff mountain so its uphill and down hill there are many steps vertical uphill as short cuts otherwise you can always walk around the corners on the road up and down the hill.

- location. the view was amazing and the restaurants + a small grocery store close enough (pls. be aware that there are many steps to reach the beach - this came as no surprise to use, we were prepared :-) )
- the house. very comfortable for four people. it was beautifully decorated and very clean. there was a lot of literature about local attractions available and also maps.
- the host. we did not meet Maria, but everything worked well via WhatsApp.
- I could definitely see myself returning to this property.
Stani was an exceptional host. Besides providing transfer services at a great price, he showed us around, gave us some great tips about the whole coast, not just Conca, and blessed us with great conversations. Conca de Marina is a charming hidden gem with a lovely little beach few great restaurants, and some very friendly locals. The house itself is bond words, an artistic little heaven in the hills overlooking the sea, and I would strongly recommend staying here.
We left a little piece of our heart in this place, although the circumstances had obviously something to do with it.. (we were stuck in the apartment for almost a whole day due to heavy storms).
The apartment is big, charming and is located in a very beautiful and relaxing place overlooking a beach.
The staff is available and very helpful and make their best to improve your experience.
It is well located if you wish to visit the Amalfi Coast.
Beautiful relaxed location. 50 steps to the beach was perfect after a busy touristy day (we often had the beach to ourselves after 5). Used the great kitchen to cook and we ate on the balcony with a picturesque view of the sea. Eduardo was a great host and very helpful with all queries especially directions on how to get there after getting off at Hotel Belvedere bus stop. I would stay here again- half way to many places along the Amalfi Coast.
You have great views, almost a private beach, if you are looking for a place to isolate and enjoy the beach, this is the place for you. Gianfranco was the jewel of our trip, he had taxi boats, boats rentals and they were amazing with everything. Francesco, the manager, is really on top of things and he always replies really fast and helped us with everything we needed. This is a great couple or family retreat.
We loved this location on the Amalfi coast. It was way more peaceful, mostly locals and tranquil. We made a mistake going to Amalfi one day, and jumped on a bus right back to Conca dei Marini. The view from the house is spectacular and we could just stay there for hours in the comfortable housing provided. The host was amazing with her greeting, help during the stay and send off. I highly recommend this place.
The location was amazing however to reach it you can only do it by water taxi or bus and beware that during high season (July-August) it is very costly and the water taxi only runs until 5:30 pm and it costs $10 EU p/person each way to reach Amalfi. The bus is extremely packed and impossible to get on and when you get to the bus stop (Belvedere hotel) you must go down the 300 steps to reach the property.
Luigi is the epitome of the perfect host. He takes great care in assuring you have a great visit. He is available for any question and willing to help make your visit beyond special. The bountiful breakfast brought to the room each morning was fantastic. Conca dei Marini is a beautiful, safe and peaceful slice of the Amalfi coast and truly a treasure!
The place is super cute and has a balcony with a waterfront view. It's a large place and could easily fit 5 people. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook - pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc. There is a small beach a 5-minute walk away. We were there when the weather wasn't super great, but we had the beach to ourselves! Host is very responsive.
Great location - small hamlet away from main touristy areas, restaurants on beach below and water taxi to Amalfi. Amazing views from the room and all public areas. Great terrace for evening drinks. Fabulous breakfasts with friendly service and great choice. Spotlessly clean snd super-efficient and obliging staff. Overall a fantastic experience!
Fabulous position and we enjoyed not being in either Amalfi or Positano. We were very kindly driven to Amalfi to catch a ferry to Positano for the day. Another day we drove to Ravello a great place to spend a day. Carmela gave us a fabulously decadent breakfast each morning. We were looked after very well
Loved the pool which was v well looked after. Great access to the sea, both hotel and next door beach. Attentive and helpful staff.
Fantastic breakfast. Good hotel restaurant but also near (via lots of steps!) to local friendly mini market and other restaurants.
Good bus service to local towns.
Beautiful hotel with great views. Rooms were comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful. Having a big pool area was also very nice. Breakfast had a great selection too. It was 10 min by car to Amalfi or by Hotel shuttle bus Also bus stop right outside the hotel.
The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel occupies a good position just above the beach and is accessible to the village. The view from the room/balcony was wonderful.
The hotel and room were very nicely decorated and most of all…very clean. The size and bathroom were a good size. The balcony had a beautiful view. Salvatore was very welcoming and helpful.
