A great hotel, comfortable clean and great rooms, good view, good location, absolutely fantastic knowledgable and warm staff which reacted quickly to every whish, question problem. This 4-star hotel is situated close to Vila do Porto, a 10-minute drive from the airport, the mountain and the beach of Praia Formosa. Traveling with My 1 year old and arriving early, check in wasn’t for a decent amount of time but they were able to thankfully get Me a room ready within a hour and a half. Comes with breakfast. Has a bar and food available for lunch or dinner. There is a kids room which I enjoyed. Not far of a walk from the center and was nice to see the animals. Beautiful view from room!

Space was generous, comfortable, and well-appointed. Service was excellent. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Aideen is great. If you're looking for a place that's kind of isolated on your own hill top in the middle of nowhere, yet just up the hill from a small town with a great restaurant, look no further. We loved hearing the rural sounds, and the place was so easy to find. We were greeted as we drove up the driveway and check in was seamless. When we opened the door, we were greeted with a loaf of homemade bread, cookies, and jam from the Cooperative Bakery up the street along with milk and a large bottle of water. We cooked breakfast every morning, and when we weren’t out exploring, we enjoyed sitting on the front patio and watching the nearby cows and sheep grazing. And, given the size of the island (and the time of year we visited), we didn’t have any problem driving to Vila do Porto for more restaurant options (it was only 20 minutes away). However, we did enjoy our late morning coffee in one of the bars in the village of Santo Espirito.
