Extremely charming hotel full of history in a beautiful and quiet Fjord. Straight from a postcard! Has been led by the same family for 300 years, amazing hosts. Breakfast is one of the best i’ve ever had! Such a memorable stay!

This refurbished 1800s manor house is in Flåm, 200 metres from the Aurlandsfjord. It provides a restaurant, a large garden and free WiFi access. Location was Great with the Boat ride nearby…..Souvenir shops and some nice Cafes n Expensive Restaurants. View from the hotel was Lovely. Great Surroundings stole my heart, I’m going to return. Kind Staff and Great Breakfast.

Situated in western Norway’s Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this waterfront hotel offers easy access to ferry boat fjord tours. There was nice variety at the breakfast and the quality was also good. The beds were comfortable and the room clean and well equiped! There was a kitchen niche at the entrance, which was separated by the bedroom with another door. This was top for keeping the cold away from the sleeping area! The staff was very kind and helpful, in whatever we asked for! The fish of the day from the restaurant (dinner) was the best we had during our stay in Norway Simply delicious!

Lærdalsøren Motor Guesthouse is the perfect hotel for car and motorcycle tourists. The hotel is surrounded by fantastic driving roads deep in the Sognefjord. Loved the Motor themed hotel. Basic room with a shared bathroom. But an interesting place with nice staff.

Turtagrø Hotel has traditions dating back to the 1880s. This hotel is located 884 meters above sea level, at the foot of Vest-Jotunheimen. This is a fantastic location with some of the more interesting hiking and climbing routes in Norway, near the Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark. We choose the accomodation in the "Swiss chalet" and this allow us to save a lot of money :-) without losing the magnificence of the place and additional services provided by the hotel like for example the very good dinner (one of the best we have in Norway). The Chalet is really beautiful and extremely functional. Clean and full of services, like the shower and the drying room.

Overlooking the Sognefjord, this hotel in Balestrand village offers rooms with free Wi-Fi access and private bathrooms with shower. Sognefjord Aquarium is a 6-minute walk away. Our room was very spacious and full of light, the window can be open, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was tasty, with a limited variety of choices.

Overlooking the Sognefjord, this hotel in central Skjolden offers an in-house restaurant, free parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The 12th-century Urnes Stave Church is 30 km away. The Skjolden Hotel was the high point of my trip. I was passing through the area and stayed for three nights. I was immediately captivated by the view of the fjord, then stayed for the excellent food from the kitchen and the lovely staff. if I had the time I would have stayed for a week.
