You can keep your luggage at the reception area or sent nearby the station as you continue to explore the town. Great location, restaurants, shops, convenient stores are just a walk away.

The breakfast plan tends toward more "Japanese style" rather than "Western", but the quality and selection is excellent. If you're more into "Western style" there is an excellent bakery in the station at the ground floor beneath the hotel (which occupies floors 4 - 7 about the train station). The location (Wakoshi in Saitama Prefecture) is a little out of way, but you have plenty of public transportation options (commuter rail) to reach destinations in downtown Tokyo or the Yokohama area. The Tobu Hotel chain has similar facilities in other areas in and around Tokyo, all of which I expect would be as terrific as the location in Wakoshi.

We were very impressed with the hot spring and were lucky that we were the only ones using it that evening. The location is good if you are arriving by train to Omiya. The main street has everything you need including a fantastic udon restaurant!
