Situated in Sowayma, 17 km from Bethany Beyond the Jordan, East hotel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Overall, hotel is excellent with location, easy access to 3 swimming pools inside the hotel premises, and Dead Sea either on foot or with golf cart what is offered from hotel. Food was great, personnel working polite and definitely worth the money paid for the stay. Rooms are spacious, every day cleaned what got us happy and surprised. Overall excellent hotel and recommended to be visited

Located at a sacred site on the banks of Jordan River, Russian Pilgrim Residence offers fully furnished apartments with a private kitchen. I so wish we had booked to stay for 2 nights instead of 1. This guesthouse is in a restricted area, due to its proximity to the Palestine border. On arrival, go to the Visitor Centre and speak to the Police. They will issue you with a pass that enables you to pass the checkpoint and drive down to the guest house. Due to border patrols, you are not allowed to access the River Jordan at night. There is ample parking and, currently, the whole area is very quiet. (However, the Catholics are building on the adjacent plot, so this might increase the number of tourists.) There were only half a dozen other people staying when we were there, so we almost had the residence to ourselves. Our room has comfortable twin beds and was utterly quiet. We hadn't realised how far the guest house was from the nearest town and how difficult it was to access the site, so we didn't know where to get dinner. The cooks prepared food for the staff and they kindly provided extra, so that we were able to eat. The absolute highlight for me was sitting on the terrace, watching the sun set over Palestine. It really was rather special and I didn't want to go in to bed.

The man in the reception, also ordered dinner for us, it was very good and he was very nice and helpful.

Boasting sea views, Spacious apartments with Sea view at Samarah Resort offers accommodation with a private beach area and a balcony, around 2.4 km from Amman Beach. The place was super clean and the entire resort was having a quiet ambience. They also had a private beach with black mud. It was easy to experience Dead Sea by staying here. The host was kind to provide some bread, hummus and the kitchen also had all clean utensils

Set in Sowayma and only 2.8 km from Amman Beach, The Precious Guesthouse offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. We stayed at the precious guesthouse just one night and it was amazing. Dinner was perfect ( I really suggest the baked salmon) and the host is really kind! The best guesthouse in Dead Sea!
