This stay ticked all of my main boxes - central location close to the bars and restaurants, a powerful and hot shower, strong internet, a big clean and comfortable bed, and a good-sized balcony with two chairs and a table (I've stayed in a couple of hotels with no balcony furniture, which makes it a bit of a waste!). Despite the location on a busy road, the room was not overlooked as there are only a single-floor properties on the opposite side. A bonus was the communal kitchen behind reception - it has a kettle, toaster, microwave and rice cooker. The hotel supplies free tea, coffee, bread and various spreads and basics and so that you can make yourself a light breakfast and enjoy it in the reception area or on the terrace at the front of the hotel.

The place is relatively clean (no cobwebs in the corners), we got fresh water everyday, there is a water kettle in the room and a huge bed. The place is very close to the beach and right next to 7-eleven. Although close to the main street, could sleep very well. The AC and the wifi were working wonders.

This is now one of my favourite places to stay in Thailand. I tried to leave many times but kept extending my stay. The location is perfect - quiet, less than 10 mins stroll from the beach, there’s a hairdresser, tailor, laundry and restaurant in the same building. The staff are fantastic and housekeeping keep your room sparkling clean. The rooms I stayed in were spacious and both had cute little balconies.
