I was welcomed with a friendly glass of port wine. The property is beautiful and a step back in time. The hosts are friendly, accommodating, and beyond helpful, assisting with taxis, recommendations, and more! Peaceful and comfortable room and fabulous breakfasts. As I had to leave rather early on the final day, they gave me a bagged breakfast to go, completely unexpected! My only regret is that I didn't prebook for a dinner, something to look forward to next time.

Quinta de Santa Julia is an enchanting place. A fairytale forest greets you and opens up to the most exceptional view of the Douro valley. The 17th century villa, breathtaking views, and amazing infinity pool are not to be missed. Eduardo was charming and generous, the family history, tour, and port was an unforgettable experience. There’s no place like this in the world!

Wspaniałe miejsce! Pokój bardzo przyjemny, klimatyczny. Patio/chillout zone jest piękna, można odpłynąć i zapomnieć o całym świecie patrząc na hektary winorośli. Przepiękny ogród z pomarańczami, jaśminem i innymi bardzo zadbanymi roślinami . Gospodarz bardzo sympatyczny i pomocny!! Śniadanie b.smaczne! (i ten widok!). szczerze polecam każdemu kto marzy o odrobinie spokoju i ucieczce od tłumów i hałasów. Trzeba się liczyć, że bez auta trzeba korzystać z taxi.

We couldn't have chosen a better stay in Douro. We felt very welcomed by Ana, André and Laura, who did everything to help us plan our stay. The house is cozy and well decorated, the room was impeccable and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast is also delicious! We didn't have a car and the location is close enough to go by taxi to nearby restaurants and the train station at Regua at the cost of around 8 euros. If we come back to Douro, we would definitely stay there again. If you're in doubt, don't hesitate!

small hotel, super relaxed, very nice and friendly staff, really family ran hotel, fantastic location wiht stunning view. In few days completely relaxed and recharged. Good food and nice wine / portowine collection.

everything! It’s a very beautiful and big property. The rooms are great, nice kitchen and comfortable living room. It has everything you could ever need. My favorite part was sitting by the vineyards and watching the sunset.
