The 5-star Pestana Vintage Porto Hotel & World Heritage Site is romantically situated along the Douro River, right on the historic Ribeira Square. Booked for a room with a view and stayed at the 5th floor. Fantástic view of the Ribeira, especially at the sunset. Nice and friendly people attending in the reception, restaurant and bar. Fantastic breakfast, including sparkling and Porto wines. Cheeses and sausages served in the hotel winery, which makes a true difference. It was my wife birthday and they sent her a bottle of sparkling wine with a small cake to celebrate. Little things that really makes a big difference.

From the location and its liveliness to the premises being so thoroughly clean and nicely decorated. I would stay at this location over and over again.

Excellent location close to riverfront, restaurants, stores. Quiet modern facilities that were super comfortable and spotless. Definitely my go-to place to future Porto visits.

Offering city views, Guest House Douro is an accommodation located in Porto, 200 metres from Ferreira Borges Market and 800 metres from Sao Bento Metro Station. We stayed recently at Guest House Douro and it was an amazing experience. Luis could not have been kinder and more welcoming. He consistently went out of his way to ensure our stay was a memorable one. For Luis alone, we highly recommend the Guest House Douro.
