A luxury, purpose-built resort along the Algarve region coastline offering a variety of accommodation ranging from 5-star hotels to villas and apartments, Vilamoura is the largest complex of its type in Europe. It is conveniently located, 16 km from Albufeira and 25 km from Faro Airport.

I have been going to Vilamoura for several years mainly due to the location only 25 minutes from Faro airport and close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Beautiful place, fantastic food. Lots of trips you are able to book when you're there like parasailing, fishing, jet skiing, dolphin watching, visit the caves, there's a waterpark nearby, beaches are beautiful and clean. Vilamoura is a nice resort, we had not been there before, most activity at night is centred at the marina, where there are loads of restuarants and bars to suit everyone. Beach was lovely I would go back again, but definitley not to the apartment we stayed in , the apartment itself was fine but not the location or the very old run down building it was in. I would not recommend it to anyone .

The view from our balcony was second to none, right above the marina. The pool area is one of the best in Vilamoura. A beautiful garden, a tennis court, and two big pools (one for the kids). Staff is nice and attentive. They accommodated our earlier checkin, which was much appreciated. There’s a luggage room where you can drop your bags. The location is awesome. Everything is within walking distance.

Fantastic for friends as there is lots of space. The pool area is also great and was very quiet during our stay. There is a hotel transfer into the marina if needed and Uber is only 5/6€. The piazza had great food and service and the hotel across the way also had a lovely restaurant.

Swimming pool not heated in October but for our kids it didn’t matter that much, they had a great time.
