Lake George is an amazing place to relax, breathe, and enjoy a vacation. I enjoy walking around the lake, riding a boat tour to explore the lake, and seeing the fancy houses surrounding the lake. Also, you can swim on a little beach with a view of the mountains and the lake.

Lake George is very pretty and there is much to do.
Lake George is very pretty and there is much to do. Very popular and something for everyone. Many places to eat which we enjoyed very much (i.e. The Boardwalk and The Lagoon.). The kids went parasailing for the first time.. Lots of ice cream shops. Friendly people. Memorial Day weekend weather was perfect for us.

Lake George is truly beautiful we drove around it and enjoyed the forests and small scenic villages. We did not like the Village of Lake George which is fast becoming a tacky beach town with countless tee shirt shops and noisy restaurants. The highlight of our trip was visiting Sagamore Resort, reflecting the early days on the lake.

Lake George is nice on and off season.
Lake George is nice on and off season. During off seasons it may be a bit harder to entertain the kids. After memorial day everything opens for fun from the little smaller arcades and rides to the beaches and Six flags/Water Park. The water park indoors at 6 flags is open off seaso . On season and off season usually are on the higher side of pricing. Very clean area, beautiful scenery with plenty to do and see so the money is worth it. If you're a fan of hot dogs, street corn and tacos with a nice cold lemonade (680 flavor options i believe) Check out the lemonade stand a few buildings over from the fort! would love to camp or rent a cabin for the fourth but could only imagine the demand!

Do not go before Month of May, since the ferry-cruise not in operation...so, not much activities. Yet it is a wonderfull view and aerea to visit.
It is full of restaurants...though we used also Walmart food since located very close the facilities.
From Hig-Way 87, very easy geting in town.

Lake George is a beautiful family friendly place to visit.
Lake George is a beautiful family friendly place to visit. There are lots of stores and restaurants to choose from, you will not be disappointed! Your right near the Great Escape Amusement Park which open until the end of the evening then closed for the winter months. There are plenty of stores, shops and sites to see and trails to walk, you will never be bored nor would your children if you are bring them along with you.
2 bedroom cabin was clean, and equipped with all we needed to cook and stay comfortably. Location is perfect. Can walk or bike to Lake George village on the bike trail in total safety. The facility manager, Corina, was wonderful. We ordered in one night and the delivery was incomplete. Corina overheard our conversation with the delivery person, and she immediately intervened and actually drove to the restaraunt (Pizza jerks, also really great!), and picked up our missing items for us. Wonderful!
The Inn at Erlowest is a gorgeous old mansion, beautifully appointed and sitting on impeccable grounds at the edge of the clear waters of Lake George. Because It is a small hotel, we received personal attention. The staff is well trained and devoted to their guests. Our special thanks to Ursula for her kindness at all hours of the day and night! Dining at the 4 Diamond restaurant was a welcome delight. We hope to have the opportunity to return to this little slice of heaven!
The people at the front desk were lovely. The young lady, Brittany, was most courteous and helpful with the questions that we've had. Fire places all around the property in the evening are wonderful and our all time favorite treat was free kayaks. The rooms were clean and fresh. We've been coming to Lake George for the past twenty years and have stayed at a number of places right on the lake. At this price range, you will not find a better place. We will come back!
The owner/operator of the motel was onsite (including first check-in) and regularly ventured the property to speak with guests. Darryl was a tremendous host for the week and was obviously extremely dedicated to ensuring his guests had a tremendous experience. Is now the only choice in my books for any of my travel through the Lake George area. Was very accommodating to motorcycle guests with a bike wash and first floor access priority.
I want to express my gratitude to the manager "sonny" who went above and beyond when a booking site overbooked this hotel. He took the time to call me back when a cancelation came in and booked room. We would have had to sleep in car if he hadn't taken the time to call even after I was quite angry and abrupt with him.. Best experience I had ever and will always look to book this chain for now on. Thank you Sonny for caring.
They say that the vacation makes the trip, but the owners, Felix and Diana, made our stay amazing. They were friendly and made us feel right at home. It felt more like staying with family then staying at a motel. They helped with knowing the area and the place exceeded our expectations. Will stay there again in a heartbeat, and will advise all who want a great place in Lake George to do so as well.
The room was clean. I was a single but the facilities were great for families.- basketball court, volleyball, cornhole, playground, lake activities, cafeteria. The swimming pool was the best. It was great to have a saltwater pool. I enjoyed it so much. I like to go to different cities but if I come back to Lake George, I will definitely stay here again. I will recommend Scotty's to others.
This was our first time at the Blue Moon. We have stayed at other motels in Lake George throughout the years. It was a wonderful surprise since we were still on Canada Street, close to everything. The owners were wonderful! Our suite was very comfortable, and very clean!!! We will definitely be back. Also, the grounds, pool, bbq areas were great. Very comfortable place.
Best hotel, great location, staff was absolutely excellent. They really care about guest experience and went above and beyond every place I’ve ever stayed. And I worked for American Express travel for 12 years so I know! I recommend this resort to anyone thinking where to stay in at Lake George.
The property is very clean and cheerful. It’s nice that it’s a little bit out from Lake George so it’s quieter even though it is on the main route. It has a lovely pool in places to sit and it’s just a very nice place to stay.
The location was perfect. Close to shopping and literally 8 minutes to every part of Lake George. The hotel was clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The free continental breakfast was an added bonus.
Close to the water. room have lots of table. good for summer time. parking lot is right next to the building. hotel is relatively close to shops, restaurants and other attractions in Lake George.
Nice pool and fire pit which we sat around one evening. Good location easy walking distance (10 minutes) from the town of Lake George, just far enough away to feel a bit more peaceful.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable the clean and beds very comfortable breakfast was ok this is the our 2nd time in the hotel we came back after 6 months on the Halloween weekend
Beautiful location that was close to downtown lake George and was easily within walking distance. Great pool, on the lake, with great breakfast on site!
