Absolutely the best hostel I've ever stayed in. I'm not sure what to put first, the cleanliness, the feeling of being at home, the size of the rooms, absolutely stunning!! I thought the hotel itself on balance was really cool and great value. Quirky and old fashioned. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant and bar. We had a couple of meals at the restaurant, which were perfectly decent and just about reasonably priced. We had a superior double room each, which included an amazing view of the beach. The features of the room are fairly standard, but all were working, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was decent enough, with plenty of options. I especially liked the bar area, which has lots of booths with views for a cosy drink with your travel party. A taxi is 10 euro into Cascais, or rental scooters or bikes can be found on the path that runs along the coastal road.
