We stayed for one night on the Rota Vincentina, and were really happy with this place. Our room was big, light and clean, the shared bathroom was excellent, and the kitchen had everything we need to cook + prep. There's also a washing machine for hikers looking to get some laundry done, and a big drying line outside.

The location is great and the pool area is very nice to relax. The apartment itself is a bit dark but comfortable and it has everything you need. The host was friendly and gave me coffee for the morning 🙏 The place is very quiet and at 5 min walk from the village of Carrapateira and 15 min walk from the beach.

We had the best time at Hortas do Rio: The rooms were beautifully furnished, the views incredible and the breakfast (with vegan options) one of a kind. Everyone was very accommodating and attentive. When we arrived tracking through dunes, it looked like a little oasis! :) Everything was perfect - caring and helpful staff, beautiful, cozy design with many places inside and outside for resting and relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend the breakfast (additional 10 euros but SO worth it). It was super delicious.

The room was lovely, high ceilings and cute decor. The location is close to amenities and is about a 5km walk to the beach. The shared kitchen downstairs was great to have and is equipped with everything you'd need to prep a meal and was great to have access to a fridge for our supplies. The patio area outside was lovely to enjoy a coffee in the morning. The bed was relatively comfortable once you got used to the idea it was on a concrete frame which got cold at night.
