I so wish we had booked to stay for 2 nights instead of 1.
This guesthouse is in a restricted area, due to its proximity to the Palestine border. On arrival, go to the Visitor Centre and speak to the Police. They will issue you with a pass that enables you to pass the checkpoint and drive down to the guest house. Due to border patrols, you are not allowed to access the River Jordan at night.
There is ample parking and, currently, the whole area is very quiet. (However, the Catholics are building on the adjacent plot, so this might increase the number of tourists.) There were only half a dozen other people staying when we were there, so we almost had the residence to ourselves. Our room has comfortable twin beds and was utterly quiet.
We hadn't realised how far the guest house was from the nearest town and how difficult it was to access the site, so we didn't know where to get dinner. The cooks prepared food for the staff and they kindly provided extra, so that we were able to eat.
The absolute highlight for me was sitting on the terrace, watching the sun set over Palestine. It really was rather special and I didn't want to go in to bed.

We had a fantastic stay at Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa in Jordan. The staff is very friendly, and we’ve never had such a good hotel buffet. Special thanks to Rosa at the restaurant—always smiling and helpful. The pools are great, and the beach is wonderful. Highly recommend! Thanks for the upgrade to see view, we enjoyed it.

Rooms are very clean with panoramic views from almost all rooms.
Amenities and toiletries that were in the bathroom are from one of my favorite local companies ,they smell marvelous.
I love their options in terms of pools… lazy lake pool is our favorite.
They provided the requested extra pillows and blankets in no time.
Room service was also good, a tad bit overpriced.

This city was a city on the shores of the Dead Sea.
This city was a city on the shores of the Dead Sea. There were no places of entertainment for tourists in the city. Of course, being close to the Dead Sea has its advantages. There are many interesting historical sites in the vicinity of this city, which are definitely worth visiting, but since public transport is not available, be sure to consider the lack or inaccessibility of public transport to tourists. That is why it is important that you also rent a car before booking a hotel here, so that you can visit the sights in the vicinity of the city. We applied to a car rental company and were very satisfied with the professional service, and I would like to share my experience with you. If you would like to rent a car, I leave here the phone number of the manager Zaid, he is an expert in his business and will support you unconditionally for car rental throughout Jordan +962797918921

Dirty/not super clean, sticky surfaces, run down spa.
Dirty/not super clean, sticky surfaces, run down spa. The breakfast was not worth it. I would give it 4 out of 10 for cleanliness, 7 out of 10 for attentive staff, 8 out of 10 for pools and access to Dead Sea. Spa facility 4 out of 10.
But sunset over Dead Sea was 10 out of 10.
Don’t eat at the poolside Aqua Bar.

The town is quite dirty, there is plenty of rubbish on the streets. Options of restaurants is quite limited, although Beit Sweimeh is so good that ypu won't need anything else. Booking reccommended to not move around too much without the guide, although we felt quite safe even on the late evening walk.

The visit to Salt Beach was an exceptional experience for us. The beach was windy and the Israeli Border could be seen towards the horizon. The salt deposits look amazing and it is quite an experience to see the saltiest water body on Earth!

Great location.
Great location. Few meters access to the Dead Sead, free mud and shower facilities. There was the end of Ramazani and they have organized plenty of activities for the children ! The children really love it ! Great place for children generally ! The host very polite and professional, kept goodies for us in the fridge. Reasonable price taking into consideration the facilities, services and the location.
the staff was really helpful and super friendly they upgraded our room to pool view room, the hotel have heated pools and play area for kids, the breakfast buffet was delicious and varied.
they have nice beach with nice view for the sunset.
Mr. Mahmoud Al-Masri and Mr. Haitham was really cooperative and made our stay more comfortable, also chef Murad and Mr, qusai from the restaurant was really nice and they gave us complementary drinks for the kids.
Hotel is OK for what u pay for
They renovated the lobby but breakfast is something to work on
Beach is far but as no other hotel in dead sea they offer a golf cart to take u up as it's soo tiring
From desk Agnet was very helpful and gave a few advices.
Room service menu and service is something they should work on as they can make more money but they just can't see itn

Really thank you to Mr Samer (Hotel manager) & Saleh for everything
The location and the private beach access to the dead sea is amazing. The free mud bath and showers on the beach is really useful. The view from the hotel room and restaurant is memorable. The buffet breakfast is delicious and the varied options for local or international food is welcome. We did not use the spa service but the different heated swimming pool are amazing.
The breakfast was excellent. The swimming pool was beautiful. There were many seating areas both in the open and under cover. The view was fantastic.
It was nice that a shower and changing room was there so one could use it after check out at twelve. However, we only found this by accident, there's no information about the facilities at the hotel
Everything was perfect. The hotel is new, the rooms are very spacious and very clean and you have an amazing view of the Dead Sea. The breakfast is not included in the price, so you have to take it separately and will cost 7 JD per person. There are no markets nearby. Water will be provided from the Hotel for free.
It was great resort wiht two pools - one infinity pool which is very good for photos. There was a resort beach at dead sea.
It was more expensive than other accomodation we have been to in Jordan but all hotels aroud dead sea are 2 or 3 times more expensive than this one so the price was overall great.
The property is very old and not maintained at all !!! Doors handles broken, floor stains , paints completely off.
Over an above , bed linen very old and towels yellow color and torn which is a complete rip off when you pay the price for a 5 star hotel like Marriott
In general, the Hilton Hotel is one of the hotels I feel comfortable staying in, whether in the Arabian Gulf or the Middle East... What I liked about my last stay was the suite in which I actually stayed, and I believe no hotel has Such a suite
Everything was clean and the service was very excellent by It was a lot of fun, I loved it Mr. Salah Al-Assaf and Mr. Magdy And Mr. Nour El-Din is from the housekeeping, the hotel is very clean, and this is not the first visit
Beautiful view, friendly staff, comfy bed, clean and spacious room, and the private beach with showers. I also liked that the hotel has a gym, so I could stretch out after a long journey.
Nice cheaper option in the village of Sowayma compared to the big chain hotels by the Dead Sea. Big rooms, balcony and pools (one for men and another separated one for women).
