My family had the most wonderful stay at Tremezzo in Hotel La Perla. Perched above other buildings in the area, the view was amazing and the hospitality was superb. Beautiful memories of Lake Como, such as hotel breakfast with a spectacular view, will charm us always.

I like that it was close to the places i wanted to visit and by foot in 10minutes you are already by the lake. Also the stuff was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful part of Lake Como with great view, Villa Carlotta and Villa Balbianello in reachable distance and good access to other parts of the lake. I didn't stay long, so I really only had time to walk around in Tremezzo, but I saw both villas and walked alongside the shore for quite a distance.

Tremezzo was a great location to use as a base to enjoy the more famous towns nearby. Staying here meant that we were out of the hustle and bustle when we came back to the hotel. It was possible to find free parking near the ferry stop. In this area, when the parking spot lines are white--the parking is free. When they are blue--one must pay and often has a time limit.

Tremezzo is a perfect gateway for a city escape.
Tremezzo is a perfect gateway for a city escape. We drove around the entire lake and realized that Tremezzo’s view is indeed the most impeccable while the convenience is still there. Compare to other small towns alongside lake Como, Tremezzo is in connection with nearby towns that has more than enough stores for shopping, groceries, laundromat, banks, eatery, and views (Tremezzo too has sufficient stores that support a longer holidays). I do recommend driving here.

If you are on foot, this is perfect. If you are looking for a base to explore the area by car this is a disaster as there is no parking but then again I dont think there is anything in Lake Como that is not 10x more expensive that comes with free parking. You are better off going to Lake Garda or Maggiore

A beautiful place on the lake with bus and ferry stops and a lovely local park, ideal for picnics and swimming in the amazing lake. There are restaurants and bars nearby and the Villa Carlotta is well worth a visit. Tremezzo is a great base to explore Como.

Stunning landscape.
Stunning landscape. Absolutely beautiful, but I hated driving around Tremezzo and Lake Como, I would stick to the speed limits and locals would overtake on blind bends. Very stressful. Some excellent food, expensive but worth it, but a lot more occasions poor food overpriced. And my life! there were some very unkempt toilets even in expensive restaurants. Shocking.
Great location, facing the lake with the beautiful Grand Hotel Tremezzo next door, and adjacent to the gardens of Villa Carlotta. Charming apartment, with real character and an amazing view. We didn’t use the kitchen (we ate out) but it seemed well equipped. The bathroom was large and the washing machine was appreciated for all our laundry. The bed was super comfy too. Great that they had Netflix for the nights in too. We kept having those “pinch me” moments, staying at there. Wonderful stay.
Amazing views and really comfortable house: spacious rooms, beds, bathrooms, kitchen, etc. even air conditioning! Because there were high temperatures this August. Very good location to take the ferry to Belaggio or Varenna. Perfect place for a family or 2 couples.
Also, the very best is the attention of Matteo, the owner, really friendly and helpful and ready to explain to us how to make the most of the Lake. Totally recommended place. Thanks so much for everything Matteo!
Grand Hotel Tremezzo is the most wonderful experience— from it’s floating pool on the lake, to the beautiful one in the garden, in addition to the breathtaking spa, the property itself is heavenly. And then on top of that, the food is amazing too- the seafood on the lake is sublime, the pizza in the garden perfect for poolside, and the unbelievably beautiful and decadent breakfast buffet with a view… I don’t have enough good things to say about this idyllic hotel.
All stuff was super nice and the service is good. I like most the cleanness because everyday they cleaned our room. The views from balcony were amazing. The location is amazing, you can walk nice restaurants and cafes from hotel. Rooms have smart tv. We got dinner at hotel's restaurant. Classic dinner set menu was 65 euros per person but I cannot say the food was amazing, I can say that the food was good and so enough. Minibar has so many things in it.
Exceeded all expectations. Amazing for a 3 star hotel. Spotless, friendly staff. Amazing views of the lake and mountains. Ferry and bus stop across the road. Had the pool to ourselves on many occasions, loads of sun beds to lie on. Amazing location, quieter than other towns around the lake like Bellagio and Varenna but we preferred staying in Tremezzo and doing day trips from there to the other towns. Will definitely be back!!
The hotel was very cozy and well-maintained, it looked even better than in the pictures. We really enjoyed the view of the lake. There’s a beautiful street leading from the hotel to the lake. The staff was very kind and helpful, we’ll definitely be coming back. The price was also great. I think Tremezzo is a great town to stay in to explore Lake Como. It’s beautiful there, and you can get around by boat for a low price.
the staff were very friendly and accommodating. the hotel was clean, the rooms very spacious and the view of the lake unmatched. It was walking distance from the ferry station and the bus stops so it’s easy to get around. I would highly recommend this place for any type of traveler visiting Lake Como. I felt safe and taken care off with the owners being available whenever needed.
The property was excellently located - bus stop from train station as well as the ferry terminal to other interesting sights in Lake Como are both right at the doorstep of Hotel Bazzoni. It is right by the lakeside so you get a beautiful view of the lake! 3 minute walk to Grand Hotel Tremezzo! The Hotel Service was good, dinner and breakfast were very good as well.
it was great location! easy to move around. you are between two ferries stop (Tremezzo & Villa Carlota) villa Carlota is the closest and had a cute little shop that sells coffee smoothies and snacks while you wait. casa Aquadulza is next to the beautiful Grand Tremezzo hotel. access with bags not easy but it made us laugh none stop.
Our room was available early to check-in. The pool was beautiful and refreshing on some hot days. Having access to a washing machine was great. The apartment itself was spacious and the terrace out front was nice. Good that there was a bar and food available on site as it was a way out of Tremezzo.
The location was amazing in Tremezzo. The rooms are decorated in a shabby chic way and their restaurant is right downstairs if you want to have dinner. since we stayed here, they gave us a discount for dinner and food was amazing 😊
I think this is a good place for summer road trip stays.
Beautiful apartment with balcony and great view of the lake. The place is big, modern, clean and just a minute away from the bus stop and boat. Restaurants are right under the apartment. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. The view is wonderful.
This was the best location! It was so gorgeous, and we were able to be right across from the fairy, bus station, restaurants! I could not recommend this place more complete with washer and dryer, and the most romantic views inside and out! I love the balcony as well!
The staff was very friendly! I love that this hotel is family run and service was very personal. Food at restaurant was so good we ate dinner there twice in 3 nights! I should have booked a lake facing room!
The staff was so nice and helpful with everything we needed. The hotel is beautiful, clean, spacious. Location is great. A rich breakfast served in a terrace overlooking a great view of the lake.
Lovely villa, located back from tremezzo but easily walkable to nice bars and restaurants (as long as you don't mind a bit of a climb home).. lovely walks close by.
