Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laid-back coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. At the top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.
Cathedral was amazing. Get tickets before you go....
Cathedral was amazing. Get tickets before you go.... The Alcazar Palace was exceptional. Horses at Jerez was lovely...bus journey went well. Bus station is actually really attractive. The private house called Casa del Pilatos was wonderful with stunning gardens. We walked around the streets a lot and saw some interesting sights. Queue for the bull ring was a tad too long. Seville was very clean indeed. The Flamenco is a must- went to the one near our hotel and it was superb. Shopping is great fun especially the fashion and the Spanish 'look'. Some quality goods for sale.
Saw a religious procession with a band which was fun to see. The only thing we didn't like was an absolutely awful group of ' beggars' masquerading as entertainers who seemed to be everywhere we went.
Worst street entertainers ever! The cafes seem to put up with them but it gave Seville a bad name in our view. They were aggressive when you refused to give them cash!
Food was pretty good everywhere. But we did have one bad meal which was our most expensive one Steaks at El Passage. Avoid!

The main attractions are all within walking distance of each other so it was easy to get around.Lots of beautiful gardens which is unusual for Spanish cities.Lots of plants from different parts of the world.
We had a great tour guide called Valentino who brought the history of the city alive.
Most of the centre was pedestrian only so you did not have to worry about cars and their noise.
Lots of different cafe and restaurants catering to all budgets also some unusual ones.

Historical sites: Setas de Seville, Cathedra, Giralda, and Alcázar are must-see places. Walk along the river and see the modeled Santa Maria near the Torre del Oro. visit Mercadas. Good Tapas bars. Visit Plaza de Espania where you may catch the most amazing amateur Flamenco Dancers!
This is a great hotel with very nice and helpful staff. The hotel is very close to the Plaza de Armas station with links to other cities in Spain and Portugal. It's very convenient, you just need to cross the street. The breakfast was exceptional and presented very nicely. During our stay, it was very hot outside, and there was always lemon water at the reception for the guests, you could drink it and cool off at once. If we come back to Seville again, we will definitely stay here.
What a fantastic old little boutique hotel, fantastically located in the best part of the old town. Easy walk to everywhere. We parked our car and didn't touch it for 3 days! Be prepared to taxi or walk with wheelie bags to hotel, stopping nearby is tricky but that's the price of its glorious location. We had an elderly relative with us and best of all it has an elevator and a fabulous roof terrace. Staff were lovely and always willing to help us.
A beautiful traditional hotel overlooking the cathedral and main square situated in the old town. Stunning views of the cathedral and Seville from the rooftop terrace and pool bar. Hotel interior was lovely and cool in the hot weather, full of beautiful Spanish art and antique furniture. We loved this hotel and would definitely stay again. Our room was very spacious, cleaned every day fresh towels and complimentary toiletries provided.
The hotel is very centally situated in the Old Town of Seville. It is a grand Hotel and our room was super in more ways than one. It was clean- comfortable- had all the amenities we required to make our stay exceptional.
Also the Breakfast is exceptional.. So much good food to choose from that you are truly spoiled for choice. It was the best breakfast I had so far in all my years of travel.
Perfect location, right in the center of old town. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby, as well as a supermarket, just two minutes away.
The house is big and cosy, yet very quiet. The beds are comfortable and the a/c is working well. The owner Eva has prepared everything you need and given very detailed Information about checkin, food and activities. Our best stay in Spain.
I didn’t receive the code or apartment number in time, a stranger called the phone number I had as the roaming I had on my phone would not work in Spain! A stranger used her phone and spoke Spanish to someone who gave the number of the apartment, when we got there the cleaner who was running late let us leave out bags and told us the key code to the box for when we returned.
Really nice hotel in the heart of the Old Town of Seville, close to everything. The rooms are big enough and clean, and there also is a rooftop pool. Breakfast is also varied, although I would have preferred some more veggies, but that's a personal preference, not a drawback of any kind.
However, the biggest asset of the hotel is the staff, which is always there to help.
Amazing hotel right in the centre of Seville old town. The virtual check in is a really nice feature as it means you can check in anytime without trouble.
The pool is really lovely, and was totally quiet when we visited.
The room is very very clean, and we liked the feature of being able to play our own music through speakers
The hotel is very central, with a huge terrace on the top and a nice swimming pool. Service and friendliness was amazing and probably the best I have ever experienced so far in Spain. They even offer valet parking, which was very mich appreciated with these narrow streets in the city center. Breakfast is really good!
Good location. All staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. Seeing the hotel had only 2 stars, I was initially a bit worried, but it ended up to be more comfortable and better equipped than other 3- or 4-star hotels we stayed in Spain during the trip.
This is a really quiet hotel north of the Old City of Seville. If you've been to other cities in Spain you know just how noisy nighttime can be. This hotel is really quiet and doesn't suffer from street noise.
The staff are welcoming and friendly and the hotel is an oasis of calm.
The "queensize" bed was actually 2 twin beds pushed together. The location was great, but Seville's streets are narrow, and Spaniards never seem to sleep, so the abundant noise down there was amplified up here. But that's not the Hostal's fault: it's like that everywhere in Spain.
Amazing hotel in the middle of the old town! Despite that Seville doesn’t have sea - the rooftop pool and the bar is a great bonus during the super hot daytime! The rooms are big, clean. The AC worked perfectly and it was very quiet. The staff is friendly!
Beautiful and charming hotel. The staff (evening) & morning of our departure were extremely wonderful and helpful. Great information about Seville and helped us with many of our reservations within Seville and even outside in other areas of Spain.
It was cozy and located in a central area. Good communication from property manager. There is a small plaza that is good for dropping off luggage if you are driving. Beware like many older cities in Spain, the streets are small!
The room was spacious, the panoramic view was just amazing, the furniture, the bathroom and the hotel restaurant all were just gorgeous. The staff gave a special offer as it was my first visit to Spain with a free breakfast.
I love the team at Hotel Unuk. It was our first time visiting Spain from the moment we walked, and their service was outstanding when we left. I love the breakfast. There are lots of options. Will come back for sure.
Absolutely luxurious amenities, fantastic shower, robes and bed. Warm and informative staff- Irene was kind and charming and took to time to explain the best places to go and eat. Best accommodations in Spain!
Our favorite hotel of our Spain trip. Really charming design and decor of the lobby area and room. Felt much more luxurious in person. Great location, and you can reach any place of interest by walking.
