I travel A LOT and am fairly critical, so when I say it's great, it REALLY is great!!! And this hotel IS great!

Located in Maia, OPORTO House AL offers garden, free WiFi, a 24-hour front desk, and valet parking. Immaculately clean! Excellent communication from host. An 8 minute walk (on sidewalks) to the airport). Host was kind enough to leave us juice, coffee, fresh bread, cheese and ham for a quick breakfast before our 6am flight. Plenty of space in our unit to spread out and organize. One challenge for some may be a short spiral staircase…..we were able to manage with our carry-on bags no problem. Wouldn’t want to schlep up a big or heavy suitcase.

Self check in and paying tourist tax online was convenient. The bed is comfy and lockers are big. Just went from the metro to the airport main ent/exit and follow the path on the left, easy to reach with google maps.

Super kind owner! He was so polite, explained everything and showed the shortest way to airport. Apartment is as a separate house in his property and we were even sad we needed to leave so early. So definitely can recommend if you want to have peaceful, comfortable rest before or after your flight.
