Our gratitude to all of them Specially Mr. Nuno in the front desk, Mr. José in the restaurant, the kind ladies in the room service and last but not least the Mrs. Inés the owner who did everything to make the best of our stay. The Restaurant The menu, the cuisine & the service. The Room. We were upgraded to a suite with a beautiful view over the city and one of the main attractions "Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios" The location: Nearby everything! very central. A side note: The swiming pool is not big nor deep. For us it didn't matter because we were not looking for it and was perfect for our 6yrs old.

The views from the property and our room were breathtaking. The room was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the included breakfast, and found the onsite restaurants to be quite good. We loved the indoor pool and also took advantage of the babysitting services. Everything about our stay was wonderful.

We also ended up at Rua de Outeiro in Canelas on our first attempt. The property was extremely peaceful. Great views. Nice lap pool although it wasn't good enough weather during our stay to use it. Delicious breakfast and charming manager. It felt like home from home. Nice communal lounge area.

Amazing breakfast, with freshly made juices, house-made yogurts, kombucha and jams. Selection of pastries, muffins, donuts and sourdough breads. Cornucopia of fruits, nuts, granolas. Healthy options to perfectly executed crispy bacons, they have it all. Their focus on producing herbs/vegetables in the edible garden and efforts to minimize waste/plastic usage are highly commendable, as well as beautiful. Minibar, snacks and even port wine was offered for free in the room. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

This Quinta is set in a beautiful location with views across vineyards down into the valley. the staff was very friendly and helpful. we opted for dinner on site, and it was fantastic. the room was very nice and comfortable. the breakfast was good. the shower had plenty of pressure and kept the set temperature (not all do). we only stayed 1 night, but could have stayed here for a week.

Great view on the beautiful river Duoro valley. Many animals, that you expect to see in a zoo, live on the villa territory. A train station just 200 meters down the hill. You can swim in the covered pool, outside pool or in the river (which water is clean as the river basin upstream is a territory of UNESCO-protected national park). The villa produces its own fruits, jam, milk and yogurt, etc
