Located next to the marina in the scenic town of Flåm, the accommodation includes free WiFi and magnificent views of the Sognefjord. We stayed 2 nights in two separate rooms and it was one of the best hotels we visited in Norway during our 2-week trip. One of the rooms had a kitchen which we clearly liked more in comparison with the other smaller one without kitchen. We particularly liked the lovely staff enthusiastically answering the phone and the fish soup at the restaurant which we ordered twice in a row. The fish main dish was wonderful as well.

Extremely charming hotel full of history in a beautiful and quiet Fjord. Straight from a postcard! Has been led by the same family for 300 years, amazing hosts. Breakfast is one of the best i’ve ever had! Such a memorable stay!

This refurbished 1800s manor house is in Flåm, 200 metres from the Aurlandsfjord. It provides a restaurant, a large garden and free WiFi access. Very safe for a solo traveler

Situated in the picturesque harbour town of Sogndal, Best Western Lægreid Hotel is next to the Almenningen Square. It have free Wi-Fi and Victorian-style rooms with flat-screen TVs. Close to the ferry Breakfast was outstanding

The views from the room and the restaurants onto the idyllic setting were just amazing. The seafood dinner was wonderful, the staff were all lovely and friendly, the whole place had a great feel. My 91 year old mother didn’t want to leave. We had planned to stay 2 nights in Flåm and just one night in Gudvangen but ended up so pleased we had the 2 nights in Gudvangen (although Flåm was really nice too).

Lærdalsøren Motor Guesthouse is the perfect hotel for car and motorcycle tourists. The hotel is surrounded by fantastic driving roads deep in the Sognefjord. Quiet. Helpful. Spacious. Relaxing.

Turtagrø Hotel has traditions dating back to the 1880s. This hotel is located 884 meters above sea level, at the foot of Vest-Jotunheimen. This is a fantastic location with some of the more interesting hiking and climbing routes in Norway, near the Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark. We choose the accomodation in the "Swiss chalet" and this allow us to save a lot of money :-) without losing the magnificence of the place and additional services provided by the hotel like for example the very good dinner (one of the best we have in Norway). The Chalet is really beautiful and extremely functional. Clean and full of services, like the shower and the drying room.

Overlooking the Sognefjord, this hotel in Balestrand village offers rooms with free Wi-Fi access and private bathrooms with shower. Sognefjord Aquarium is a 6-minute walk away. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The view was incredible and the hotel facilities included something for adults and children

Overlooking the Sognefjord, this hotel in central Skjolden offers an in-house restaurant, free parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The 12th-century Urnes Stave Church is 30 km away. The Skjolden Hotel was the high point of my trip. I was passing through the area and stayed for three nights. I was immediately captivated by the view of the fjord, then stayed for the excellent food from the kitchen and the lovely staff. if I had the time I would have stayed for a week.
