Design Suites is the best hotel. The staff is helpful and very nice. I had tv problems and the manager organized help immediately and solved the problem. The cleaning is very good. Overall, the maintenance of the hotel is good. During the week there were several power outages on the island. In this hotel, the business has worked without problems. This indicates a good organization and committed staff. I will gladly come back to the "best hotel" on the island.

Breakfast is good as well. Nice swimming pools, plenty of activities in the hotel. Nothing could be better, an excellent hotel and highly recommended 👌

A great hotel. The rooms were clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable. USB plus made it easy to charge everything. The breakfast and dinners were delicious and a reasonable price to add onto your stay. Staff was really helpful for addressing any issues in a timely fashion and helping to set up activities. They also gave great recommendations for food and things to do. The hotel is walking distance to the beach. Our room overlooked a lot, not nice in itself, but the benefit was we had an unobstructed view of the sunsets!

Situated 300 metres from Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows in Santa Maria, Porto Antigo Hotel BB welcomes guests with a restaurant and bar. Rooms have a TV. Porto Antigo is a really beautiful Hotel! Our apartment had direct access to a small beach! This was perfect four the kids. The pool is also very nice an close to the pool there is another small beach without stones our rocks in the water...also perfect four children!! The apartment was perfectly clean and you have the basic equipment for cooking!! We spent a really good time in Porto Antigo and I will definitely come another time when I go to Sal.

Hotel MiraBela is a 3-star bed and breakfast located in the centre of Santa Maria and within 100 metres from the beach. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a balcony. The hotel is located on the main street and so just 2 min walk to the beach, very convenient! You can get a filled water bottle and when it's empty, they'll refill it so you can bring it along. The breakfast was lovely and you had different options which was good. I also want to give a big big big thank you to Simone, she made me feel so safe as a solo female traveller and give me tips. She reassured me a lot of times. Thank you to Lisandro as well!
