Strasserwirt Herrenansitz zu Tirol is a romantic, castle-like hotel in the East Tyrolean Puster Valley between the South Tyrolean and the Lienz Dolomites. Literally, the only thing about this fabulous hotel that I didn't like were the pillows.

Opening in December 2015, Almfamilyhotel Scherer is located in Obertilliach in the Lesach Valley, at 1,450 metres above sea level. Exceptionally friendly staff. Amazing facilities for kids.

Hotel Sonne enjoys a quiet location in the Old Town of Lienz. It offers free WiFi access and has a roof terrace with panoramic views of the Dolomites. The only thing I can say is that I will visit it again.
