Fantastic old-style hotel right in the very centre of town, with restaurant and bar attached. Despite the annual - and very noisy - May funfair taking place right outside I had a very quiet room at the back. The staff were very friendly and helpful - all in all, one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

Location and friendly employees. Breakfast was really good. The timing is perfect and also the choices of the menu. The only recommendation of change I will suggest is to make more channels for the guests to choose. Thank you

Groningen is beautiful, we were lucky to have visited when the fairground was in town which kept the teenager children entertained.
We also visited a few climbing centres while here.
Staff at the cafes, pubs and restaurants were all very friendly and helpful.
I would definitely visit again.

Groningen can seriously surprise you with it's beauty if you visit in right weather which will enable you to explore all it has to offer. We found our timing just right during our visit of mid/end May. It has a very joyous vibe, well planned infrastructure, multicultural cuisine, easy local conveyance, great connectivity with Amsterdam. Students from various walks of the world makes it even more vibrant and energietic.
The unique 'forum' building, University of Groningen and it's widely spread out yet classic campuses, beatiful streets, Grote market, clock tower and central garden will be remembered for a long time.

Groningen is a beautiful city , I would prefer it to Amsterdam . It is a nice size, there's loads to see and do. The Groninger Museum always has terrific exhibitions and the building itself is amazing. The Ship Museum is excellent also . There is a lovely ambience with many cosy cafes and bars and great eateries such as the Drei Gezusters. We had great takeaway food at the Vis Markt , the Kibbeling is very tasty and the portions everywhere are generous.
As it is a University city , there is a lively student atmosphere,
We walked everywhere as everything is accessible. It is a wonderful spot for a city break.
The property lies on the outskirts of Groningen downtown however city center it is very well reachable by a short walk and even better with a bike that you can rent on the spot. We stayed in a tent and it was interesting to be woken up by a peacock sitting at the tent entrance early in the morning. The ambience was quite relaxing and offers an extraordinary experience feeling like an oasis in a desert. We figured we should visit this place every now and then to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The room was excellent and the staff was very helpful. From the the time we entered till we left the staff was always helpful and was ready to take an extra step to guide and support our needs.
The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The showers always had hot water which was very comforting in the cold weather.
The hotel has a lovely gym and laundry room for your requirements with other children games to provide entertainment with Students monthly specials
The Hotel is right in the Center of Groningen, you can explore the City and all the great shopping opportunities by foot. And the last Sunday of each month is “Koopzondag” (shops open for business).
The lobby’s style is modern and comfy, the bar is open till 12 and the pool table was used by many guests.
The breakfast was delicious, something for every taste 😊
And the personal is great, really nice and helpful.
The hotel is very conveniently located close to the city centre. Bus and train stations are within walking distance, as are supermarkets. The kitchen facilities are more than adequate. We had to modify our reservations a number of times during our stay. We found the staff extremely helpful and they went out of their way to accommodate our requirements.
Excellent location to see Groningen city , just a 15 min walk from the station. Lovely dining/breakfast area with plenty of choice. Reasonable bar prices for a hotel too.
Rooms had comfortable beds , very clean and extremely quiet for a town centre locale.
Each room was well equipped with iron and board, plus hairdryer- although not a powerful one.
this hotel is located in the middle of the bustling
city centre, under a minutes walk from delicious
restaurants and small shops. it is truly in the centre
of fun! the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and forthcoming!
we enjoyed the large room and even though we opted for exploring
the city for breakfast, the hotel’s looked amazing
The hotel boasts an excellent location that makes exploring the central area of Groningen a breeze. The staff here are not only friendly but really helpful, always ready to assist. The breakfast offered is nice. Additionally, the rooms are not just spacious but clean, providing a comfortable and chill environment.
The service, the location and the style of the hotel with different houses and rooms Is fascinating and has a proper dutch vibe.
The hotel is situated really in the heart of the city center and you can walk everywhere within 15 mins.
I would strongly recommend this hotel if you visit Groningen.
Cute hotel, close to the city centre (less than 5 minutes by foot), right next to a supermarket. It's quiet. The room was a bit small but perfectly fine for one person. Comfy bed, nice shower. Good breakfast buffet (bit expensive at 15€). Super friendly and helpful staff. Would come here again.
Breakfast was standard fare, Continental choices, cooked options etc and fine for a buffet style, but on the pricy side. Hotels in Groningen are never 'cheap' so relatively good value for the city, well/conveniently located for the centre but parking expensive.
A very nice luxury hotel in the city center of Groningen. The rooms are nice renovated using high end materials. The staff is very friendly and we received a free upgrade as well. In the lobby of the hotel there you can also enjoy a coffee with something else.
Great apartment right in the centre of Groningen. Beautifully furnished, very quiet, good wifi. About 100 meters from Interparking Centrum (I think we paid 22 euros for 24 hours) and surrounded by lots of bars, shops and restaurants.
Location was nice, close the trainstation and city centrum. Kitchen had everything what was needed. Host was really helpful with all the questions i had and i will sure use their apartments again someday!
It's very conveniently located in the city of Groningen, at a walking distance from the central station with supermarkets and restaurants near by. The room had a private bathroom with toilet and shower.
Good hotel near the Martini congress.
Friendly staff and very much appreciate the extra breakfast service downstairs at 11am from a kind young lady. She deserves a raise, just excellent!
cozy hotel with cozy rooms. The staff was super friendly. The location and breakfast were very good. If you love to go out and want to find some happiness in the city go for this hotel.
