Super staff. Especially the girl in the dining area who was super attentive. The reception and cleaning staff were super. Whatever is being done with training and recruitment, "keep it going"!

The bed was extremely soft, so that I really felt that I sunk in. The pillows were a little to high. The dustbins could be bigger. The breakfast was wonderful, the size of the room was nice and heavenly quiet, so was the aircondition. Kind people working in the hotel. So the only (small) critical topic was the bed. Thank you 😉

Great location in a histotic building. The owners were very friendly. Large room with a comfortable bed. Access to a shared kitchen area with tea and coffee (also alcohol and soft drinks in an honesty bar). Deventer is a pleasant city and certainly worth a stop if your travels are taking you in that direction.

The room I stayed in (#13 in the annex) was on the top floor, a spacious apartment with a view on the front side, a balcony on the back, equipped with full appliances, just great !!

The breakfast was excellent - breads, yoghurt, plenty of fruit. The location is fantastic - in a quaint, period building with lots of old pictures and a room stuffed with old Dutch period items. The bathroom was fine. Hortance was very helpful as she was servicing a group of us who traveled there for work. We appreciated her flexibility in allowing 2 other couples in our group, staying in a different hotel, to eat breakfast there (for a reasonable fee).

I rarely leave 10/10 reviews but I just have to this time because the woman on reception was so lovely and while the room was a bit "cheerful" I had a great night's sleep in it and the shower was nice too. Breakfast was also good and the hotel was in a good location about 10mins walk from the station and the main square. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks 😊
