The personnel is nice and helpful. The room was big enough, the bed was good, a bit too soft for me, but OK. The room has a balcony that was pleasant to rest on. A/C worked fine, without any noise. The center of the town and the beaches are at 5 minutes of walk.

Lovely atmosphere. Gets very busy. Good sandy beaches.
Could extend the free beach a bit more as paying for beds / parasols etc on a daily basis could be expensive for some families. The village of Camaiore, Pietransanta, and Lucca are lovely and worth a visit.

If you are travelling by rail the nearest station is in Viarregio. Its not that far - say 2/3 miles - not walkable - a taxi will cost you 20 euros.
If you plan to visit Pisa , Lucca , Florence etc the rail network is cheap ,efficient and comfortable. Just bear in mind that its going to cost you 20 euros each way to get back and to the train station. We only stayed for 3 days but did discover that there is a bus E25 that will take you to or very neat the station. Only costs a couple of euros,

Still authentic and not too many tourists.
It hosts some traditional good restaurants. Whenever I'm there for a few days, you'll find me at least twice at La Cantina da Bruno

We booked in Lido di Camaiore to travel around the area and wanted to choose a holiday spot for our accommodation. We visited Lucca, Florence, Viareggio and Cinque Terre and they were all easy to approach with the local buses and trains. Restaurants offer fresh seafood dishes which made our stay even better.

There is nothing to dislike at this hotel. The staff are lovey & Massimo is the ultimate gentleman with attention to detail. This great gentleman is true old school professional of the highest level in the hospitality industry. Room great, location great, hotel staff lovely, breakfast ample. We decided to eat in the hotel restaurant rather than eat at a local restaurant. The hotel restaurant is great with excellent food which clearly reflects on Massimo having owned one of the most famous restaurants in Berlin for decades.
This property was exceptional during our visit to Italy. From checkin to checkout the staff and service were all friendly and helpful. We had an amazing experience with the family. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious. Elena among the best being helpful and patient even when we locked out our car keys inside the car took the time to be on the phone with the rental company sorting out the issue. Thank you to all for a great vacation stay.
Roberto (the owner) was a great host. He cares about the satisfaction of his guests and you can see that he enjoys his work. Always pleasant, friendly, personal approach. He talked to every guest every morning, gave tips for excursions. The hotel is a short walk from the beach, with a nice cozy garden and seating area, the rooms are clean. Smaller breakfast selection, but everything is fresh and even so you can find your own. The price/performance ratio is great.
The breakfast was amazing - quite the spread! the pool was delightful, and the staff was very helpful. I did not realize that bikes were included with your room which was an awesome bonus! They were such a great way to explore the town. My room was small comfortable, perfect for myself (a solo traveler) and it included a patio with a great view of the ocean. I highly recommend Hotel Europa!
An excellent hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was very good with so much choice and lovely pastries. The pool area was lovely and also made use of the terrace with very comfy chairs and loungers. Close to the beach and some lovely restaurants and also had cheap deals with 2 beach clubs.
Great location just in front of the beach in quite area. Many restaurants are close. Fantastic pool and very nice hotel territory. Very good choice of good in the breakfast time. The beach place is at additional cost standard for Italy (25euros for 3 places). Nice and well equipped beach with delicious restaurant.
The room looked at least like a 4 star hotel and was new renovated. We had a seaview, but had a really low price for one night. The Hotel is in a convenient second row location, at one of the most beautiful parts of the Viareggio promenade. The Beach is beautiful. The owners are very nice and helpful.
We had a great stay in Hotel Pineta Mare. Everything was clean and comfortable. Personal was very nice to us and took care about us. As the bonus you have private beach with the equipments and for dinner or lunch you can choose from two perfect restaurants. We would love to return in the future.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was fresh every morning, coffee was great, hotel was always spotless. Pool area quite small but still no problem getting a sun bed. Only a few minutes walk from the beach front. Overall we couldn't find a thing to fault, and will definitely return.
An owner couple is very nice and helpful! I had a very good time chatting with them.
The apartment is very clean and well equipped. The nearest beach is just 5 minutes by car and there are a big supermarket, restaurants and shops near by.
Ideal holiday apartment for both couple and family.
We booked a room to attend a festival and the hotel was in a great location so we could go to the beach or the festival quite easily without our car. Employees were so nice and patient with us, it felt really good to say hi and exchange a few words when we got in and out of the hotel.
Family oriented hotel, stay was absolutely amazing, personnel and warm service with a personal touch of kindness. It was a stay to remember forever, manager/owner is extremely helpful and friendly with every request and interested to make this stay full of culture and knowledge
They are so kind and sweet. Breakfast , close to the public beach, room has a balcony with ocean view, staff was so kind, everything was perfect. They offered us to go to bus tickets from a kiosk it was helpful .I wish I could have stayed longer.
Great location close to beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice daily. Stayed for dinner as well one night, and they were very accommodating (I can't eat seafood). Everything was delicious.
Small hotel, directly at the beach! And the ocean view rooms really had perfect ocean view. It was lovely. Personal was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but fully fine for a 3 star hotel.
Was upgraded to a junior suite without any extra costs. The hotel is probably the best in the area. Enjoyed a relaxing massage in the spa. Fantastic breakfast.
