Although we booked out of season, the welcome was perfectly organised. Rooms were clean and bright and the breakfast the next morning was absolutely fantastic, only to be outdone by the host/owner himself: Jarno. He was so kind and friendly, a bubble of positive energy that just made our day before it had even started. And even though we were out of season and there were only two rooms booked, the breakfast was worthy of a king! For Jarno and the breakfast alone we would have gladly booked another night, but we had to move on unfortunately. We will be back in the summer!

A great resort with plenty of restaurants and bars.
A great resort with plenty of restaurants and bars. It suited us as a family with adult children. The skiing was great. We are intermediate skiers, and there is a tough black run to access the majority of the pistes, therefore not so good for beginners. It was very quiet and no queues, with except of Saturday wheb the town and the pistes were very busy.

Unfortunately it was not clear on the Booking.com website...
Unfortunately it was not clear on the Booking.com website that the accommodation rate was on a bed and breakfast basis only. To upgrade to half board I was charged £29 per day which I thought was excessive considering the poor quality of the evening meals. I shall be very wary of booking via Booking.com in future

Very pretty resort with great food at sensible prices.
Very pretty resort with great food at sensible prices. Really didn’t like the instance on wearing a FFP2 mask on the gondolas… soo much so that it would make me consider other resorts until that rule is changed…it’s slows the skiing and no one I was with saw it necessary.

beautiful ski area, not very busstling town, but mountains are incredible. recommend area for advanced skiers, not great for beginners and young kids as there is not an easy blue slope, but after bunny hill you move directly to advanced red slopes.
Fantastic stay all round at this family-run hotel; excellent location halfway up the mountain at Crest, ski-in/ski-out, warm, welcoming and helpful staff and great food (plenty of options, and plenty of food (local cuisine)!). The rooms looked like they had been recently refurbished, everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. We woke up to a view of the sun rising over the mountains and the ski slopes from our bedroom window each morning - unbeatable.
This family-run hotel is an excellent value for your money and in a lovely location. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is beer and wine on tap. The rooms are comfortable - we didn’t realize that complimentary tea/coffee was available at the front desk even though there’s a hotpot in the room. Breakfast eggs/ham can be made to order, as well there are all the other European breakfast items available. Not to mention the pool and sauna are free to use!
Jean Pierre and Angie were fabulous hosts and the location, with its Matterhorn view and position at the top of the Crest gondola, superb. The newly refurbished rooms are lovely. We particularly enjoyed a sundowner on our balcony overlooking the valley below as the pistes clear, the sun sets over the mountains and silence ensues-no one but us left up the mountain. Better experience than many a five star ski resort hotel.
The accommodation is excellent, staff were friendly and very helpful, they spoke good English. The property is easy to find and close to the ski area, which is small and we weren’t unfortunately able to book ski school for the children, so ended up driving to Champoluc everyday
The village itself is also very small with few bars and restaurants so we tended again to go to Champoluc which is only a 10 minute drive away
Great family hotel with passion for people. Welcoming and friendly on all aspects. Hotel itself is located in Lignod 5km access to Monterosa ski on free Ayas shuttle bus. Style is of a warm and mountain deco from Valle d'Aosta. Also the family offer a great dinner option (la nonna e zia in cucina). A value for money set menu healthy and tasty. Well done and keep doing it. Ciao.
Well located family-run hotel with great service, food and lovely rooms. Excellent, on demand, mini bus service to lift facilities although the gondola is well within walking distance. Lovely pro-active family vibe with music evenings and wine tasting to add to the excellent evening food and delicious breakfasts.
the location is amazing right next to all the amenities in town.
I went with my 4 kids and they had so much fun : there is a ping pong table, table football and a trampoline on the hotel terrace.
the family room on the third floor was newly renovated and ver nice with a beautiful view!
It used to be one of Champolucs best fourstar hotel with great services and comfort included. It is more like a hostel nowadays, still very nice interior as before, but no real hotelfeeling. Nice personel in the reception.
Breakfast was very good, room and rest of the hotel very well decorated, parking in front of the hotel is free and quite spacious, nice tavern with TV and bar. Very good restaurant, great price for quality and service.
The wonderful welcome from Sig.ra Franca made our arrival very special and an added bonus with delicious cake!
The location was perfect, close to The antagnod ski slopes and a 10 min drive to Champoluc.
The hotel is stunning. Every detail and object fits perfectly in the mountain setting. it is also extremely close to the ski slopes and you can leave your skis in a deposit right next to the piste!
Great family stay in a lovely village. Close location near to the ski slopes, however we used the car to get to the lift.
Franka, thanks for the hospitality!
