We stayed because of the thermal pool, but the water was only lukewarm.

Best hospitality on the entire Camino. I injured my foot shortly before arriving here. Yolanda showed me the most care and love. A pilgrim herself, she bandaged my foot herself, she brought me coffee up the next day when I couldn’t get downstairs, she made me an appointment with a physio as well as telling me about her pal who rents bicycles - which ultimately saved my Camino. After my own hiking poles broke 3 days before she donated me a new one - which got me to Santiago. She also does give a wonderful stamp, but only if you do stay at the Albergue. And do because it’s one of the most memorable stays now of the Camino because of the absolute kindness shown.
It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque.
It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque. Nice parks to walk around, plenty of restaurants and cafes. It's small so easy to get around by walking. Did not partake of the hot springs but this town definitely famous for them.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village.
Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

Caldas de Reis is a regular stop-over on the Camino Portuguese. The main square with palm trees is lovely. There are cafes and you can sit there have coffee and enjoy, I only made a one night stop so can't really say much more.

We only stayed in Caldas de Reis as we were walking the Camino Portugese. We saw lots of things that'd been nice to further explore if we'd had a couple of days there....river, historic buildings etc.
This is a great boutique hotel right in the old town of Caldas del Reis along the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage path, and has its own dedicated free parking about 150 meters away. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, caters to walking pilgrims, and serves a wonderful customized breakfast from 7:00 AM, which is great for early hikers. The room and bed are excellent, it is quiet, and you have the convenience of an elevator. We were given early checkin, which was very welcome. Restaurants nearby, and other services.
I would caution any Pilgrims walking the Camino to absolutely not stay at this hotel. it is extremely too expensive for what you get and it does not have a good pilgrim vibe. you can pay 10€ to use the thermal bath and an extra 2€ for a swim cap, but otherwise do not stay here if your a pilgrim. there are way better accommodations in this area for you that are more affordable and have better vibes.
This was a great stay. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good location although the town didn’t seem too interesting. The shops on walking street either out of business or not appealing. The hotel had most amazing bicycle parking with electric plugs and cleaning station even tire pump.
Absolutely loved this gem of a hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to or through Caldas De Reis. Our host was very welcoming and encouraged us to use the facilities. This property is a short walk to the main centre of town and was very quiet at night.
As a pilgrim, this place was truly a retreat for the soul. The flat was super clean and the owner made sure you felt comfortable. She gave us many useful tips, so we would enjoy our stay in Caldas de Reis. We really enjoyed the communication and stay overall!
Most importantly, our host. Miguel was so hospitable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He went out of his way to help us. We stayed at his properties in Pontevedra and Caldas de Reis and they were by far our best stays on the Camino.
Unless peregrinos are staying in an albergue, they will find this place to be one of the best bargains in Caldas de Reis. It is a comfortable, roomy, nicely furnished apartment in a really good location, right on the Camino.
The man who checked us in gave us extensive details of all the different attractions of Caldas de Reis. Hé was very hospitable and knowledgeable about the Camino. The hostel is clean and welcoming.
A nice place to stay. Clean, friendly, efficient. There is a pool, but we were to tired from walking to use it. I would definitely consider staying here again if I were in Caldas de Reis.
A beautiful room on the Camino. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the window lovely. Breakfast was down the road at the sister hotel, but very easy, delicious and filling.
Good option (not only) for pilgrims passing through Caldas de Reis. The city is tiny and the appartment is right in the center. Nice balcony. Very friendly owner.
