I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rawsheh 51 in Beirut with my two daughters, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We stayed in a 1 Bedroom suite that was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They made sure all our needs were met and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The suite itself was well-appointed, with all the amenities we could have asked for, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable – perfect for a good night's sleep after a day of exploring.
The location of Rawsheh 51 is another big plus. It's situated in a lively yet safe neighborhood, conveniently close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. With easy access to local shops, cafes, and restaurants, we were able to truly experience the vibrant culture of Beirut.
Moreover, the attention to detail in terms of cleanliness was outstanding. The suite and common areas were spotless, which is something we greatly appreciated, especially when traveling with children.
Overall, our stay at Rawsheh 51 was nothing short of perfect. It provided a delightful home away from home, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beirut.

Once called a “Paris of the Middle East,” Beirut is the Lebanese capital along the Mediterranean, flanked by the Lebanese Mountains. Severely destroyed during the Civil War, the city underwent major reconstruction and is now a vibrant place full of nightlife and shopping venues.
Beirut is often considered by many major media outlets to be one of the top cities in the world due to its cosmopolitan nature and commercial development. See it for yourself on Rue Verdun, the trendiest shopping area or the Central District, the city’s historical core, full of modern structures, dining venues and open public spaces.
Stroll down the tourists’ favorite, Hamra Street, featuring plenty of boutique shops, popular cafés and restaurants. Beirut is sometimes called the “Party Capital of the Arab World” so while you’re at it, dance the night off at the clubs at Rue Monnot.
For a bit of history mixed with upbeat nightlife, pay a visit to Achrafieh, one of the city’s oldest and most charming districts. Since Beirut has over 5,000 years of history, a visit to its National Museum and Archaeological Museum is a real treat.
Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport is only a 10-minute drive from the city center and Booking.com has a variety of hotels and apartments in Achrafieh and Hamra for your perfect Beirut stay.
Beirut is one of my favorite cities. It is a vibrant city with an amazing cultural history. Walking in downtown, with the beautiful Souk filled to the brim with budget-friendly and high-end stores, while hearing the call to prayer from the neighboring Al-amin Mosque, lets you know you are in a unique city. Its mix of modernity and history makes it so interesting to walk around and discover. It has a great restaurant scene, if you are a foodie - even vegan, there are lots of options. The French colonization impacted its architecture - mixing Arabic and french styles. You get around with Taxis, everywhere has wifi, and you can surely find someone speaking French or English to guide you. The city actually also has a great gay-scene, with bars and clubs, making it a unique city in the Middle East.

Beirut is a must!
Beirut is a must! Lebanon is small and Beirut is a great location to plan your travel from if you are here for a short trip. If you plan a longer time here, it's worth spending more time in different regions of the country. You can make a day trip from Beirut to pretty much anywhere in Lebanon.

Beirut, Lebanon's capital, is a captivating blend of ancient history and modern vitality. From its well-preserved Roman ruins and a treasure trove of historical artifacts at the National Museum to its diverse neighborhoods bursting with art, culture, and delicious cuisine, Beirut offers an enchanting travel experience. The city's stunning Mediterranean seafront, vibrant Corniche, and the warm hospitality of its people add to its allure, making Beirut a must-visit destination that seamlessly weaves together the old and the new, leaving travelers with unforgettable memories of a resilient and inviting city.
Spotlessly clean, spacious room made for a comfortable stay. Free upgrade to a business room by the very friendly staff. Electricity was constantly available and the wifi signal was strong, with only an occasional small delay. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The hotel is centrally located, a stone's throw away from the corniche and around 30' on foot from all major downtown attractions. Taxis are very cheap if ordered through apps and get you anywhere in no time.
The hotel was well situated, a side street off Hamra. Room was comfortable and clean. Check in was very smooth and the people were friendly. Pre-booked an early morning taxi to the airpot with the hotel that went without a hitch.
I had stayed in two different hotels while in Beirut, a longer stay with another one and only stayed one night before leaving Beirut with Cavalier Hotel. Found myself wishing I had booked this hotel for the longer stay instead.
It is one of the best hotel experiences ever!! I highly recommend this place, what you take for the price is so good. The room was very clean, the staff was super friendly, the location is amazing in the centre of downtown beirut, and it has everything you need around it. Most importantly is the price of the room compared to what you are taking is so cheap!
I would for sure come again.
Ps: The hotel bar prices are very cheap and affordable.
This was a great value option right in the heart of Hamra neighbourhood, within walking distance of Raouché and the Corniche. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful and kind to try and make my stay as comfortable as possible despite the economic crisis / power cuts etc. They helped with advice on money changing, helping me change money when I arrived very late, SIM cards, sorting airport pick-ups and many other things.
During my stay at The Grand Meshmosh Hotel, several aspects stood out. The reception staff's willingness to resolve a booking issue with a discounted room upgrade was a customer-focused highlight. The hotel's central location near downtown Beirut and Mar Mikhael is a significant advantage for exploring the city. The hotel's bohemian ambience added to the overall experience provided excellent value for the price.
Excellent location in Beirut with friendly staff and everything you need. The only issue I had is not with the hotel, but the moment of my stay - Beirut was on alert due to difficult situation between Israel and Gaza and many facilities, places, objects and even services were unavailable due to this situation.
The location of the place is in proximity of the famous Hamra district and the Rawcheh Rocks.
The staff were very professional and friendly, with everything going on in Lebanon right now its very hard for all but they were exceptional!! I would recommend this hotel as i renewed my stay and ended up here for over a month and could not ask for a better stay in Lebanon thankyou to all the staff you guys are amazing!!
Great apartment, very spacious. Centrally located in Hamra and also centrally located in Beirut. Many cafes and restaurants in the area. The people working at the apartment are very friendly and helpful. After a round trip in Lebanon I will be back at Divan Hotel Apartments to stay for a second time.
It was as good as I expected it to be.
The big advantage was the location, in the middle of downtown beirut, close to fancy spots and Zeituna bay. I just love how it is also 7min ride to any other neighborhood you'd want to go to as Ashrafiye, Hamra, Verdun.
Stayed with my partner. Great location. Great airport pick up and the took up the option of hiring the driver for the day to visit Biblos and other sites. Famous coffee cafe nearby. Beirut is highly recommended and so is this hotel.
Nice stuff they are so friendly specially Lubnaa , Ayoub ,Ayham and Norma💕 they made sure we have everything we need and we feel comfortable in our stay, soo much recommended and we will come back if we visited lebanon again😻
The hotel is brand new.
It is close to the national museum of Beirut and close to the heart of the capital.
The electricity is 24/7, which is a real advantage due to the current crisis in Lebanon.
The room was clean.
Very nice hotel. Very close the the corniche and 10 mints away from Hamra . The hotel is very neat. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I asked for higher floor in few minutes I was transferred.
- Hotel is very nice.. simple but renewed and everything is well equipped.
- Amazing staff.. all are helpful and really welcoming.
- Location is near to everything as it is at Hamra street.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown
One of the best hotels in hamra street, the staff is extremely friendly very professional and really nice , very clean hotel and one of a kind service
Highly recommended
Near Al Hamra street, clean, It does not have a bad smell in the rooms and corridors, quit, friendly staff.
