* Location: ibis Milano Centro is in-between the city center and Milano Centrale train station, about 400m to Metro M3-line Repubblica station and about 650m to Metro M1-line Porta Venezia station. Quite convenient for both getting into the city and also for day trips via trains. There is a small supermarket in the same block. Pavé café, famous for its Panettone, is very close by.
* Overall: A solid ibis experience. The price-performance ratio is good; any closer to the city center, and hotel prices start to skyrocket.

Milan is awesome. Not only for fashion and luxury, but it's very modern and very Italian. Public transport is excellent, there's a great variety of bars and restaurants, people are nice and active. And of course, you have all the tourist attractions.
I'd recommend taking a short trip to Como Lake from there as well.

Milan is always a surprising city. You can find everything. Elegant shops. Amazing restaurants. Beautiful people. In the city center you can breathe the smell of a european city. It's also a good place where you can invest your money. The real estate market is really good.

Whilst Milan was not as beautiful as Florence or Rome or Venice it has beautiful church interiors! Its Art Galleries are excellent if you are an art enthusiast. Of course for fashion enthusiasts those streets of Montenapoleone and around that vicinity is most exciting. A restaurant we particularly enjoyed was Slow Sud - check it out! Plus Vino e Pasta! But Milan is not the most charming place in Italy that’s for sure!

The city has a lot to see and enjoy.
The city has a lot to see and enjoy. The Museums (Modern Art, Science and Technology and Natural History) are very good. But there was much more to do if there was time. It has an excellent transport network and tickets that work as passes for one day or more. Trains leave from Milan to many parts of Italy on a regular basis. It could be a great base for multiple trips. I just thought that if you don't stay in an apartment and have to eat all your meals outside, it's really expensive. In addition to the fees that are not even specified in the locations, the price-quality ratio is not the best. To eat really well, it's stupidly expensive.

Very nice historical city, quite crowded, though.
Very nice historical city, quite crowded, though. We liked Duomo (online booking recommended), Castello Sforzeco is very nice and beautifully lit at night (we spent almost an hour taking pictures there). Milano Centrale train station is a monumental structure inside.
Negatives. Quite expensive even for Italy. Public transportation system (ATM) is a parody, unreliable in every regard.

A wonderful city, combining remarkable ancient history,...
A wonderful city, combining remarkable ancient history, culture, architecture and modern one, some times quite elitist in modern art, fashion, construction Every one has a different opinion and preferences and favorite places. Mine were and are The Duomo, La Scala, Santa Maria la Gracie, the area of BRERA with the pubs and the ancient appearance and........The San SIRO Stadium!
On my next visit I'll stay for more days, go to the the same places but explore new ones, visit more restaurants, by the way, milan cuisine is noticeable! I can't get hold of it!
The infrastructure is very good in Milan, the transport is perfect organized, but avoid peak hours! The same is for the crowds of tourists
in popular places, so just charge yourself with positive patience and there are funny moments in them.
Positives:
Location: Close to Milano Centrale if that's what your looking for. At a walking distance from Milano Centrale -- we walked with some carry-on baggage to/from the train station
Room: Clean and nice decor
Breakfast: Best breakfast in our 10-day trip to Italy (that had us stay in Florence, Siena, Cineue Terre -- Monterosso, Lucca). Only hotel with eggs for breakfast in June (they had both the scrambled and hard-boiled eggs). Also had assorted cut-up fresh fruits. And had the usual stuff -- cakes, crossoints etc. etc..
The Lancaster Hotel is a beautiful hotel located 20 minutes walk from the city centre of Milan. The staff were very helpful and polite, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was really nice. The owner Mr. Filippo told us about the history of the hotel which dates back to the beginning of the 1900s, this makes you appreciate this beautiful building even more. We had a very pleasant stay at the Lancaster Hotel and I would recommend it for sure and we would definitely stay again.
For visitors, you will enjoy the fact that it is moments from Milano Central Station. The apartment was fantastic and I have been Italy for 3 weeks and this by far has been the cleanest apartment as of yet everything is brand new the air conditioner actually works and there is even Comcast in the room. What I really enjoyed was the fact that the owner was in constant contact making sure that we were comfortable at all times and that means a lot.
Luigi is the perfect host and representation of what is beautiful about Italy. He did everything to make our stay a special one and for this we are extremely grateful! The apartment was cozy and in a great spot to go out and explore Milan. And listen to his recommendations especially about food. We had one of the best meals in Italy at a restaurant he recommended. We hope to see Luigi again in the future!!
The staff were amazing. Very helpful. The room was impeccable. Beautiful polished maple paneling in the room. Detailed features throughout that I enjoyed. The breakfast was amazing. Very nice selection of items. The breakfast hostess, Angelina, was so kind and helpful. She made some of the best cappuccinos in all of Italy. If ever in Milan again, will most certainly stay there again.
This hotel is right behind the Milano centrale train station. It is super clean, bright, modern, very nice employees and the breakfast buffet is one of the best in Italy. Wifi and all amenities included. Great place to stay overnight when you are taking the Malpensa express to the airport the next morning! Or you could make it your base for Milano! Excellent value!
Excellent position and very good breakfast. Friendly staff; the room was clean and free water was provided.
The location of the hotel is perfect if you need to go to the city centre, and the railway station ("Milano Centrale" the main railway station) is not too far, walking distance. Shops and supermarkets around.
Great location in the heart of Milan. Really superb location with key restaurants, shops and attractions within blocks of the apartment. It is fabulously furnished, with a super comfortable bed and has a really boutique feel about it. One of the best breakfasts we had in a hotel travelling Italy for 3 weeks.
The hotel is close to bus stops, there are lots of bicycle stations and also electric scooters available to reach the city centre. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was very warm in Milan and the air conditioning was a life saver. Breakfast was simply gorgeous. The staff is so helpful and friendly.
Totally impressed with Hotel Teco. The location was perfect, very close to the Milan city centre and the public transport. The rooms were very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. We especially loved the fresh fruits from the breakfast. Would definitely stay again during our next visit to Milan.
I would appreciate this things: quiet location of Milano, direct connection to the city centre, perfect caffe bar just across the street, safe parking in hotel area, very good breakfast table, nice rooms and nice personal. I recommend for everyone travelling to Milan.
I liked the location of the Hotel, it was very central and only a few minutes away from the centre of Milan.
Also, the Hotel was able to arrange transport back to the main central train station on Easter Sunday (a day on which usually nobody works in Italy).
Very nice hotel in a calm neighborhood,
staff was nice and available 24/7.
5 minutes walk from the central station which is for me the greatest thing of it all! makes it really easy to travel around the city & all the northern part of italy.
Perfecto!
The lobby and staff are excellent, there is also a nice bar in the hotel. Location is perfect, very close to the Duomo and major city centre sites within Milan (Quadrilatero della mode, etc.).
Great facilities, room size and the Sky channels were a nice touch! The hotel offers so much more than a lot of the hotels which are more expensive in the Milan City Centre.
Went unexpectedly due to injury to my back
Staff and hotel could not have been more accommodating
Highly recommend
Loved the art work thru out
What Italy is all abo

Super nice hotel, walking distance from train station (great for when you’re traveling through Italy). Staff was amazing, room was great, breakfast was perfect.
