It is a beautiful old town. Perfect for swimming in the sea and then going for a stroll. We stayed only one day so did not have a chance to visit any attractions. There are loads of places to eat and drink. The only downside is the prices. It was more expensive than we'd thought. Shop around because prices vary a lot.

Unfortunately my bad experience in this hotel and the management gave me bad impression.
We could pay this money in a much better place and city.
We couldn’t go anywhere in Jbeil because No transportation available there.
Also we couldn’t find good restaurants to dine in.
I will not go back there again

A wonderful historic town with everything within walking distance. A lot of very good restaurants and absolutely everyone was friendly and welcoming. Some great beach restaurants on both main beaches, one very rocky and one beautifully sandy.

Very nice city for walking, site seeing, dining, hanging out, etc. Its old souk is one of the most famous in Lebanon, and the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. Walking and sitting by the sea at the old port is quite a relaxing experience.

Lots oh history & culture, with a cute downtown offering the option to chill in a side cafe or to immerse yourself in the heart of the street with amazing drinks!
Also, the area has many beaches a 5 min way to enjoy the sun & restaurants full of seafood flavours.

Very nice place with amazing sunset!
Very nice place with amazing sunset! We stayed in Beirut for 3 days and in Byblos(Jbeil) for another 3 days. But you don't have to stay that much in Beirut, Byblos is more relaxing. You can visit historical places and also you may have summer holiday. Very great bars and restaurants in center, you will not get bored'
The hotel is currently in the process of renovations. It is also being refurbished. There is a lot of construction work going on from early morning to evening, but I did not really hear it while in my room. Due to this all the place -especially the exterior - looks quite different from the pictures on booking.com that I saw. The new style is very charming. The staff is friendly, helpful and polite. The views on the beach, blue sea and nearby Beirut are stunning. We liked the breakfast and especially the dinner at the SE onsite restaurant.
The hotel owner is such a kind helpful cooperative lady who manages the hotel with her daughter. We have been upgraded to a deluxe one bedroom apartment the minute we arrived. The owner herself offered us a ride by her private car to go to the old town area and guided us to restaurants and shops in Jbeil. Thank you Mrs Claire for making our stay that pleasant and comfortable. Hope to come again
The staff were wonderful, the history of the hotel and restaurant were amazing and visiting the museum of artefacts was so unexpected. This place is rich in history and culture. Knowing that so many world leaders, celebrities and artists have eaten in the restaurant made the experience even richer.
Perfecty located just along the beach, 7min walk from the souk and archeological site. The venue is a bit oldish and resembles 80ties-like hotels, it simply requires urgent referbishement. Neverthless the magnificent seaview compensates this drawback. Just ask for a waterfront room.
The room was perfect: clean, cozy and confortable! It's an amazing spot to wake up to the sound of the sea. We had breakfast in the hotel, everything was just delicious and all the staff was very nice and helpful! We had a rented car and the parking space was safe and confortable.
very chic with all amenities available, no electricity cuts or any inconvenience that I heard about before visiting lebanon; perfect location close to everything. Owner is very friendly, gave us great recommendations for places to visit.
will certainly be back soon.
The hotel is the best in jbeil, love the gym love the hotel love the suite and the spa everything is perfect and the room is super super clean and the staff is helpful and welcoming and sweet !!! Would def repeat this stay
The place is amazing and conveniently located close to Jbeil and the highway.
The staff are absolutely amazing, all of them were friendly and well presented.
Next trip to lebanon I am staying there for sure !!!
Pepe's Fishing Club is a must see/must stay in Byblos. It's centrally located by the harbor and everything in town is less than a 10 minute walk. Miled, the hotel/restaurant manager, was especially helpful.
Great staff, food is good and price very well studied for the current situation. cleaning is perfect great sea view and the only hotel now that isn’t disconnecting AC or limiting usage very appreciated.
The location of the hotel is really amazing
Both Etien front dest manager and room service representative were supper helpfully, their hospitality was beyond exceptions.
