Limenaria is a terribly crowded locality. I recommend it to those who do not go on vacation for rest. If you have a week off and you want to enjoy the sea, but also to rest after a whole year of work, Limenaria is not what you need.

The view from there is breathtaking but the drive in is not for the faint hearted. We were really pleased to have local residents lead us up there. Small town in the south of Thassos with plenty of tavernas and bars by the beach, I could advice the Navagio bar on the beach at night for wonderful cocktails and scenery. Busy town at times but generally quiet, more family oriented. Mainly Balkan and Greek tourism. Great place in the south, which has the nicest beaches, with sea amenities to use a base to visit this wonderful underrated island. It is not beach front but that is not problem at all, Thassos has a lot great beaches so you will drive anyway. The apartment was cleaned every day, completely with the terrace and everything, towels changed every day, and sheets every second day, I think, if not every day. The hostess is great, very nice and informative, she is always available for assistance. There is a free parking place next to the building. We had a great time.

We had a little bit problem with the car and we delayed with the chek-in - the host was so nice and waited for us and welcomed us with a good homemade liqueur - it was so nice! :) Highly recommend Villa Pines for stay in Thassos.

The whole apartment had that "new" smell, it was sparkling clean and was kept that way throughout our stay and the host, Stamatia, was very kind and helpful. The place was cleaned every day and our sheets and towels were changed every 3 days. It takes a 5 minutes walk to get in the Limenaria port area, where you have lots of shops and tavernas. All in all, a great vacation, thanks again Stamatia!

We felt pampered and taking care of like no other place we went in Greece so far. The view from our room at the top was breathtaking, it was like we were on a cruise ship, the sea was feeling so close. The food was verry good and tasty and again, the services both at the complex and restaurant were top notch. Beach with sand umbrellas and sun beds are right in front of the hotel.

The hotel is new and you can see it in every little detail.
