Oliver and Patricia are amazing. This property is amazing, it's an apartment big enough for 2 or more. It has a pool. Olivier delivers fresh hot pastries and bread to your room every morning. Papaya, their dog greets you every morning. The property is beautiful and one top of a hill - great views. We were there 2 nights and slept great. I told Oliver next time I'll come for a month. merci beaucoup. obrigata

Staff are very friendly. The room I stayed in was nice but basic, good for the price though. Nice pool area too.

Salema is a lovely unspoilt village with a beautiful beach, several good restaurants, and a few shops. It is surrounded by natural beauty, wonderful hiking trails and convenient access to Sagres and the Atlantic coast.

From villa not really walkable as street so very narrow.
From villa not really walkable as street so very narrow. Path not suitable for older folks or those with mobility problems. Had to drive. Good restaurants, beach and coffee shops. Grocery store close .
Easy drive to other beaches and towns for exploring.

The street closest to the beach where we stayed was the best 'old world' part of Salema. Other parts can be less aesthetically pleasing but the whole place is less fussy and busy than other coastal spots like Luz or Lagos. A quiet place worth 2 nights. Restaurant options good too, even in winter.

I loved this beach!
I loved this beach! It was so picturesque and uncluttered with commercialism. The water was a little too cold for us to swim, but it was a beautiful to stroll along the beach. Although this was a small beach, there were plenty of restaurants.

Quiet fishing village, not touristy.
Quiet fishing village, not touristy. Beautiful beaches and views of the ocean. Friendly people, good restaurants, lots of fresh fish. Easy to get around if you are wearing sturdy shoes as lots of steps and steep paths into the village from Salema Beach Village, however, there is a shuttle service from the hotel if required.

I deliberately chose to stay in Salema as I was looking for a small, pristine beach/fisherman g location - and I found it all there!
Salema has preserved its authentic self despite the tide of tourism that has engulfed other parts of the Algarve.
The beach is big enough to absorb many visitors without being full. The sand is beautiful and sunsets are of course very special.
The village has some very good restaurants, a gelateria and lots of cute shops.
And who doesn’t want to live, even temporarily, on Rua dos Pescadores!
The location is wonderful. We were lucky to have the breakfast served at the room due to covid limitations, and it turned out to be an unexpected value adding experience. Our room has sea views on the 4th floor and we really had a wonderful time every morning over breakfast enjoying the lovely view over the beach. The breakfast itself was very complete and over expectations, same for the staff working at the hotel, always kind, smiling and ready to help. A place to repeat no question about it
We have been visiting these lovely apartments since 2007. They have everything you need for a holiday in Salema (unless you plan to do a lot of cooking at home as there is no oven)With all the lovely local restaurants we eat out most of the time so the 2 hot plates, kettle, toaster and microwave are fine for us.Esmerelda and Paula in Reception are wonderful. The pool is lovely and everything is very clean. We will be back asap
Casa Clementine was in an amazing location, really
secluded and only a twenty minute walk to either
Salema or Figueira. The views out to sea are
amazing and the pool was so nice to jump into on a
hot day. It's a really spacious place with plenty of
places to chill, eat and play games, and modern
bathrooms, plus some really secluded beaches
nearby. The pizza oven was really fun to use as
well!
I loved everything about this place! It’s an entire house and very comfortable in an amazing location. The beds are super comfortable and the shower nice and hot. Our stop at the Salema Beach House completely restored us during our 12 day trek. I can’t say enough about the accommodations and the host. Both were exceptional. Thank you! Thank you!
Location was great. Just the week family escape to the warm weather that we needed. Besides the beach located just some steps away, Salema also has good restaurants that offer great seafood. The house is well equipped and it was quite pleasant to have fruits and water ready upon our arrival.
The young man at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. The view from all of the rooms is beautiful and the hotel is right in the heart of Salema. Easy walk for a beach day or an evening stroll on the beach after dinner. Beach is great for families or people looking for calm and quiet.
We absolutely loved our stay at Romantik Villa. Our terrace was fantastic and the room was lovely - great sized bathroom. The breakfast each morning was a nice touch and Fabienne was really friendly and helpful. 5 min walk to Salema restaurants and the beach.
Beautiful view! Quiet location but close to town and the beach! Our hosts were wonderful and very helpful, They delivered fresh baked goods to our room every morning and stocked the rooms with espresso, tea, yogurt, delicious muesli, yogurt and fruit.
This camp was one of the best accomodations I had in Portugal. The teepee was big, clean, the bed was comfortable. The shared bathrooms were clean. The staff was very nice. I would definitely recommend it to everybody going to Salema:)
We had a lovely stay in this house with breathtaking view of Salema and the sea, right at the beach and near some lovely restaurants with vegan options and great hiking routes. Felt very at home, thank you Jo!
We had the best holidays at Salema Beach Village. Beautiful clean rooms and lovely staff . Stunning beach and great restaurants around. We will be def coming back !
Salema is very steep and these villas are at the top of the hill. View was great, staff we're helpful and always available. Bonus shuttle to village, dinner, etc.
Self catering. The view was superb and the apartment was in walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants. The furnishings were stylish and of good quality.
