The parking garage needs an update but is perfectly safe. Restaurants around the corner, like the bakery and so on. The staff is very politely and friendly.

Located in Mainz’s city centre, only 50 metres from the main station, this friendly family-run hotel offers comfortable accommodation with free wireless internet access. Lovely big room, double glazed opening windows, comfortable bed, adjacent train station but also an enjoyable walk to the old town city centre, Gutenberg museum etc.. Nice breakfast at reasonable price. Staff helpful. The red stone public buildings and charming painted house and shop facades in the old town plus new and old sculptures are interesting.

Hotel Königshof ligt recht tegenover het centraal station van Mainz. Het biedt een 24-uursreceptie en geluiddichte kamers met gratis WiFi. Net buiten het hotel vindt u bussen, trams en S-Bahntreinen. I have stayed at Hotel Königshof many times. It has old decor but it really clean and all the staff with the exception of one were wonderful, helpful, friendly and efficient. I am used to the small lift so that did not bother me at all (but I did not have many suitcases or a pram etc to take upstairs). I was given a single room on the 4th floor with only one step to climb after gettin gout of the lift. It was facing the courtyard (no pretty picture) but very quiet and I could sleep with my window open. The breakfast was good (same every day) except for sweet buns, or confectionary. The location is excellent and the train station is very clean and no drug addicts hanging around. Amazing how Mainz does this as other cities do not manage this. Lots of places in the station for buying meals, fruit, etc. (I especially liked the Tai place). As well as shopping places and a chemist. The hotel is on a little shady square with restaurants and tables outside. I sat there twice enjoying a meal at the place across the road. All in all it was a really good stay of 5 nights.

This quietly located hotel in Mainz offers varied breakfast buffets and tea/coffee in the morning. Mainz Central Station is just 800 metres away. The location was excellent. Within walking distance of the train stations and several restaurants.

Hotel Terminus biedt 3-sterrenaccommodatie ligt in Mainz, op een paar minuten lopen van centraal station Mainz en 13 km van station Wiesbaden Centraal. Everything about it. The gentleman at work there it was very helpful and very nice.
